Cameron Osborne, Ph.D.

I’m a postdoctoral researcher in the McDermott Livestock Entomology Lab at the University of Arkansas. My interests are broadly in arthropods of medical and veterinary importance. At UArk I’m investigating pathogen prevalence in ticks, mosquitos, and midges around Arkansas. My doctoral research focused on methods to control the biting midge Culicoides sonorensis, an important livestock pest. My previous work has focused on bluetongue virus in midges (as an undergrad researcher at UC Davis) and tick-borne relapsing fever during my M.S. at Fresno State.

Check out my research and project updates, and feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. Find me on Instagram/Threads at camozbio.
